Good to know

Immigration translation questions.

Do all immigration applications use the same translation rules?

No. Requirements vary by country, receiving authority, application route and sometimes where the translator is located. Always follow the current instructions for the authority and form you are using.

Does a certified translation always need notarization?

No. Certification, notarization, affidavits and certified copies are different requirements. The correct package depends on the receiving authority and application instructions.

Should stamps, seals and handwritten notes be translated?

A complete translation should account for all visible text, including stamps, seals, annotations and text that is not legible. Do not crop the source document when uploading it.

Can TranslateSwift tell me which service to order?

Yes. Choose the country where you are applying and review the authority-specific guidance. If your application has unusual instructions, contact support before ordering.

Is this portal legal or immigration advice?

No. It explains document-translation requirements using official sources. Eligibility, evidence strategy and legal questions should be confirmed with the relevant authority or a qualified immigration professional.
